Roma Diffusa 2023

The Capital returns to tell its contemporary soul with Romadiffusa, the travelling cultural festival sponsored by Roma Capitale in co-planning with Municipality I.

Now in its second edition, the event takes place within the Ansa Barocca, the area that includes the Rioni PonteParione and Regola, where, for four days, artistsmusiciansperformers and creatives liven up the spaces of the city – alleys, squares, museums, academies, historic buildings and locations, art galleries, secret terraces and courtyards, private houses, artist studios – with original performances and contents.

On the schedule are vernissages, site-specific installations, lectures, workshops and creative courses, widespread exhibitions, dance, secret concerts, widespread tastings, performative dinners, parties and DJ sets, tours and guided visits, and stand up comedies that give life to a creative and inspired ensemble, connecting people and different artistic and cultural languages and inviting the public to discover and experience new and unprecedented realities.

Rome Art Week 2022

The exhibition opens the doors of Costanza Alvarez de Castro’s studio, displaying the artist’s latest works, set up within the historical spaces of the Podocatari building on the occasion of the 7th edition of Rome Art Week. The body of work consists of medium-large paintings, mainly created in oil on canvas and never exhibited until now. The fil rouge is Costanza’s autonomous and personal expressive research developed over the last year, an accurate study of reality perceived in the intersection of multiple genres and subjects. Moving from portrait to landscape and still life, the enigmatic representations emerge between the realism of matter and references to abstract and remote spatiality.

Costanza Alvarez de Castro’s sudio will be open:

from monday to friday from 4:00 to 8:30 pm

saturday from 10:00 am to 8:30 pm
